Jim Parsons, star of the Big Bang Theory who is not attention-hungry Kaley Cuoco, was on Ellen yesterday, and as expected, host Ellen Degeneres pestered him about his relationship status in the same way any intrusive mother hen (or maybe just Ellen) would.
Jimmy’s been with his boyfriend Todd Spiewak for eleven years now, and Ellen, who’s super okay if you’re uncomfortable during her interview, pushed the point with, “It gets better when you’re married. It really does. Don’t think that it doesn’t. Eleven years is enough time.”
Jimmy kept squirming in his chair — attempting to stay put and not run away from discomfort — before replying with a stuttered, “I’m not saying he’s been discouraging it. I feel like I haven’t been enthusiastic enough about it and feel like I’m a loser for the cause.”
That’s just great, Ellen. Just great. He already plays a nerd on TV, and now you’re making him a loser in real life. I’m sure Sheldon will be back for another interview real soon.
